Does anybody know if this affiliate protection will work?

I didn't realize that the Affiliate space had no trade association, a point very well made in this video over at Shoemoney at Affiliate Crossfire Panel he was on at the CPA Empire Media.

I would be wary of a commericial product that didn't have the back of a trade association, but perhaps that is because I am an attorney.

Can anyone explain why this group doesn't have a Trade Association?
