Alan Kippax on BIM
Mr. Kippax, the marketing genius behind the Treasure Trader pyramid scheme, has some unkind words for CBC's Marketplace show on his latest scheme, Business in Motion.
Mr. Kippax's odd diatribe should give the lie to the claim that con criminals are charming because no one can feel any other than disgust and distaste listening to this bully rant and rave.
At one point, Kippax claims that an ex Revenue Canada agent who worked in licensing US network marketing companies investigate BIM. Kippax claims "you had to pass and get a license from her."
There is no such licensing requirement in Canada, nor if there were would Revenue Canada have anything to do with it.
Kippax may be referring to the Advisory Opinion program run by Competition Bureau.
An opinion under the Commissioner's Program of Advisory Opinions can be requested as to whether a proposed marketing plan would give the Commissioner reason to initiate an inquiry under sections 55 or 55.1 of the Act.
Opinions take into account previous jurisprudence, previous opinions and the stated policies of the Commissioner.
The requestor should recognize that opinions are only given in relation to the Act and not in relation to other statutes, such as the Criminal Code of Canada.
In order to provide an informed opinion, the Commissioner requires adequate disclosure of all material facts relating to the proposed plan, including the name of the requestor and the proposed business.
The more complete and accurate the information provided, the less qualified the opinion will be and the less likely it is that the matter would be subject to revision because of new information received.
The information that is submitted should include a description of the compensation plan, all promotional brochures, pamphlets, videos, audiotapes, contractual agreements and any other material which provides information relating to the marketing plan.
The requestor must also confirm that the proposed plan raises no issues that are being considered by any other law enforcement agency in Canada or abroad.
Those who seek an opinion are not bound by it and should a negative opinion be given on the plan, operators remain free to adopt the plan in question, recognizing that the matter may be tested in the courts.
Similarly, the Commissioner is not bound by such opinions. They are given in relation to a specific set of facts.
Should a plan that is implemented be different from the plan presented to the Commissioner, or should conditions change in a way that impact of the plan, the matter could be subject to further examination and the opinion revised.
What should have been part of the CBC's Question and Answer on BIM is the next section from the Competition Bureau's Advisory Program:
"An opinion under sections 55 and 55.1 of the Act will not be given in the following situations: where the plan involves gold or silver coins, the travel industry or discount cards.
An opinion will not be given in these situations because of the difficulty of establishing the value of these products.
In such cases it is not possible to determine whether consideration is being paid for the right to receive bonuses for recruitment."
This immediately proves the lie behind Kippax's statement that an ex employee from the Federal government was reviewing BIM with respect to the Competition Bureau's Advisory Program. (I will anxiously await Kippax's $10,000 for proving him less than 100% honest.)
Unlike the FTC's Staff Opinions, the Competition Bureau's Advisory Opinions are not online, nor is the application with materials accessible.
This is a major failing of the program - what is needed is to open up the process so that social media and the wisdom of the crowd can be used to throughly review, comment and vet these network marketing programs.

I don't know why people are lumping Global Wealth Trade and BIM or TTI together. They are completely seperate entities. The only thing either of these have in common is Oliver Koncz a.k.a. the person who blew the whistle on TTI. Global Wealth Trade has nothing to do with travel, BIM or TTI. The products have value without a business opportunity attached to it and could be sold just like any other designer products (Gucci, Chanel, Cartier) through high end retail outlets but that isn't the distribution method they have chosen. The distribution method is a moot point and calling GWT an MLM company isn't accurate either because the products can easily stand on their own unlike most MLM opportunities. Do your research before you start posting things. A wise man once told me don't argue with fools, because people from afar can't tell who's who. Figure it out dummies

To whom it may concern;
Whether by design or by accident a few folks here are mixing GWT Corp with some well known problem companies of the past. I am hopeful that the mix up here is a simple case of mistaken identity by a few un-informed individuals and I like to clear the miss-information with a response I wrote for another small forum which I suspect are the same people here.
I trust that the information below will clear the mix up.

Hello Scott and the reader
I was forwarded your text regarding my involvement with TTI/BIM. I like to make corrections on a few misconceptions and clear the apparent confusion between our good company and TTI. I believe it is important that every one remain responsible when talking about another individual or company on the Internet. Also the reader must always consider the source of the information and their qualification and credibility on the topic before accepting any views offered by those individuals.
There are some very key principles to follow when researching online.
a) The source of the information; if the information is coming from a none GWT member then it must automatically be dismissed. How can you offer opinion when you personally have never had any dealings with the company and its principles?
b) BE ACCURATE, on this forum I see there is a mass confusion between TTI/BIM and GWT Corp.
Below is some information to help clear the confusion:
1- Unlike your comment Scott on my involvement with TTI, I personally had never held a corporate position with TTI or BIM.
2- BIM/ TTI is owned by
Alan Kippax and those companies have absolutely no relations or connections to GWT Corp.
3- BIM sells gems and vacations, TTI sold gems, BIM is the new version of TTI, Alen Kippax is the owner of BIM and TTI.
4- GWT Corp DOES NOT sell vacations, we do NOT have $1300 packages, we are a world-class designer specializing in Fine jewellery and fine apparel.
5- Oliver Kontz was an employee with TTI, was not a director, and did not make decisions that would have influenced the company’s directions. He resigned and went to authorities when he realized that TTI had taken the wrong turn.
6- Oliver Koncz joined my executive team TWO years after I had launched GWT Corp. He is not a director with GWT Corp and he is a highly valued employee. Oliver is a good man, father of four and a hard worker. I hired Oliver because of his extensive corporate experience with multi-billion dollar direct selling companies in Asia.
7- GWT Corp is entering its fifth year of operation. The business started in my home office in early 2005; we have had five office expansions in as many years. Although GWT Corp is a proud new Canadian corporation; our fine jewellery-manufacturing heritage dates back to 1880’s. Our facilities around the world supply wholesalers who supply jewellery stores in three continents.
8- GWT Corp has a Variable Business Plan, which means that there are FOUR ways to distribute our designs products. They are;
- Home parties
- Trade shows
- Internet marketing
- Direct sales (MLM)
So we are not a traditional MLM company, MLM is one of our FOUR methods of distribution.
Lastly I am puzzled that we have a 100 + year old jewellery heritage, a patent pending 21 K gold composition, the world’s highest rated designer jewelry collection certified independently by the world’s largest gemological lab (IGI), we are entering the fine couture apparel world that compete directly with world bench marks such as Chanel, Gucci, Cartier etc, all these significant accomplishments by a proud Canadian firm was missed or overlooked and all the conversation here is about one of the FOUR ways that we distribute our products which is direct sales.
The bottom line:
It is irresponsible to bash a company or individuals based on uninformed opinion. It seems that the few that express negative view of our company are against the whole direct sales industry in general. NONE OF THEM have ever been a member of GWT or know anything about the company or its executives. They are simply utilizing GWT Corp as a vehicle to express their general negative views regarding the industry. This is unfair to 4000 + proud GWT members, it is unfair to the entire GWT corporate team who work 14 hours/day towards a visions that Canada will one day take over Switzerland and Italy as the bench mark of the designer world.
Robert Kiyosaki says that “the most expensive advice is FREE advice, this is definitely true for the opportunity seeker who is conducting online research. As a CEO I am very proud to announce that we are probably the only company who utilizes direct sales for almost FIVE years and still don’t have a single complaint from an ex- distributor. No other company that utilizes direct sales can say that and it is a true testament of who we are at GWT Corp. This perfect track record is no accident and can only happen when you offer valuable business options, valuable world-class products and a caring and professional team at the corporate office.
In closing if you are against the direct sales industry as a whole you need to click on the links below and watch the short video from President Clinton endorsing direct sales as the liberator for the US economy. Perhaps its time for you to put aside the old misconceptions and update the information that you think you have regarding this amazing industry. Of course like anything else when something is so good, bad people also get a hold of it so you need to be cautious and make sure to conduct your OWN do-diligence/research from credible and ACCURATE sources to insure that the company you are looking at is legitimate
I hope the above information is helpful. The links are below.

I don’t understand the complexity of distinguishing one company from another. Some of you look so unsophisticated (if you know what I mean) with your comments that it is humorous. I am a GWT member and reading these notes makes me believe that internet usage should be privilege and not a right for some. How are you folks keep confusing GWT Corp. a five year old Canadian corporation with a 110 year jewelry manufacturing heritage to Alen Kippax, TTI/BIM and other scams. I read all the notes and I see that ALL of the negative notes are about TTI/ BIM and Kippax other then the few notes from criminal Dave Thornton that thinks everyone including the police, RCMP and judges are a scams. I also see some INFORMED folks are trying to clear the GWT name from this silly forum. It is insulting to bring in such a prestigious Canadian company to this conversation. Perhaps this will clarify the madness in this forum;
One person here wrote “There are kids recruiting kids in my son's high school for this Global Wealth Trade thing, and it's the travel packages and "jewelry". They are looking for around $1300 to start up”.
Get it right people, that is BIM (Business in motion). GWT is a Canadian designer and jewelry manufacturer, they DO NOT sell vacations (BIM does) and they DO NOT have a $1300 sign up (BIM does). Obviously this person is confused between the two companies.
How do you come to mix two totally separate entities in totally different leagues to each other? Your discussion here is similar to one comparing the bankrupt Chrysler to Mercedes Benz because the current Benz president served as Chrysler president at one time.
The next note comes from Bob and Anna Bassett that is 100% BIM and Alan Kippax related but their notes fall under the false GWT note so automatically people relate the two companies together.
The next note is by Thomas Hosler and again is 100% BIM related so again no relations to GWT.
Then you have the opportunist and extortionist Dave Thornton making his attempt to get more donations from people. He is a total waist of time and now that he is exposed there is no need to waist time on him. If you don’t know Dave he is a life time criminal with a rap sheet longer then most maximum security inmates. He has only one motive for bashing companies and that is to force them to pay him money to back off. His strategy is simple keep bashing them on the net and if you manage to harm them enough then they will be forced to pay you the black mail money. That strategy of course never worked for him but he does manage to live off of naïve people’s donations and of course the govt pension. But don’t take this from me click on the link below and see Dave Thornton in action. You will hear how this “public defender” LIVE on the phone trying to extort $200,000 from another company called CDT, enjoy the laugh. http://canexec.com/resources/Crime+Busters+Now.doc
Lastly it is true that Oliver Koncz was an employee of TTI and so were 50 other people. I have met him many times and he is a good man with four kids. Oliver was never a director of TTI and was the only employee that resigned from his post to get away from TTI. Oliver was hired by GWT two years after GWT was launched because of his 10 year corporate experience. He is NOT a director of GWT, he is one of their executives and what is more impressive is his knowledge of the law and compliance.
The CEO of GWT has NEVER had ANY associations with TTI management team hence his name should never be included in these conversations. He is a guru in business, he represented Canada as an athlete and won a world title and now he once again represents Canada on the world stage competing with the world’s top designers from Italy and Switzerland like Gucci, Chanel, Cartier etc. All 5000 GWT members and 10,000 plus GWT clients have no doubt that GWT Corp and its prestige designer lines will beat the world bench marks and bring home another gold for Canada in designer supremacy.
I hope now you know the differences between TTI/BIM/Kipax and GWT Corp and PLEASE unless you can write factually, the world simply does not need another uninformed opinion. If we wanted that we would simply go to Dave Thornton.

Hello there this is Dustan Townsend, Ive been a part of Global Wealth Trade for 7 months now and i can tell you this is the best thing i have ever done with my life. My father is a retired RCMP officer who said he would be a part of direct selling again. But when he saw this company he got in after his due diligence.
I encourage you all to do your homework. Learn about this company and the CEO Ramin. He is an amazing man, and i actually trust this company more than I do my own bank.
Im making money, and its getting loaded on to my card every week.

I was just recently introduced to BIM Corporation by a friend of mine that lives in Edmonton, and she is following Alan Kippax around the country. She had brought me to one of there meetings here in Calgary, and I just found it to good to be true. I used to be a Regional Director for Excel Telecomm when I lived in Red Deer, and I worked my butt off with that company with barely any success, and when they went bankrupt, that did it for me, I wanted nothing to do with MLMs ever again.
But from going to this meeting and having Alan Kippax there, he really knows how to get to you. Like I have done the math as well, and it is doomed for failure within 5 to 10 years, and not everyone will join this company.
I just recently did a search online about BIM and Alan Kippax, and I cant find anything that says this is Legal or illegal, I have a friend that works for the Competition board of Canada, and he told me that Alan Kippax has friends working there in the higher levels of the Bureau, and the Government of Canada. He pays them to let him push this movement accross Canada, just so he doesnt get shutdown. He even apparently pays higher members of the RCMP to leave him alone, and judges. Apparently he paid a judge to rule for him in Court, cause he was being sued $10,000,000.00 by some guy. Now to protect my friends Job, I wont name him for any reason. Now for all those whom have joined or are thinking of Joining, Buyer Beware, that Ultra Life kit he sells isnt worth much more than $50.

Crime Busters Now & TTI, the real faces of scams in Canada
You guys are bunch of uninformed idiots. Alan Kippax might be the biggest crook in Canada's history but you guys actually make him look good with your level of intelligence.
Dave Thonton how is the extortion business going? still living of people's donations on your fake causes and picking on law enforcement officers and judges?
Anyone that follows this Dave guy might as well follow alan Kippax because Thornton is operating his own scam with Crime Busters Now (CBN)for the past 5 years. Imagine a life time criminal that we booked and put in jail for wife beating and attempted rape is now the public defender, laugh-able.
Let the law enforcement protect the public and attack the scams as appose to a life time criminal and scam artist David gatordave Thornton.
You want to know your public defender gatordave Thornton click on the link below where he tries to black mail a company for $200,000, Dave give it up, no one is buying your crap anymore.
People this guy has made a living on the innocent people’s donation for five years because of his fake causes. Do your do-diligence on David Thornton just like you would on the MLM companies that he is warning you about and what you will find is that his past and present is very much similar to Alan Kippax. He almost had me until I came across his police bashing talks, it is obvious that David Thornton has no love for the law enforcement since they continuously had to put him away for all his criminal activities for the past 40 years.
Listen to gator Dave here

ConcernedParent have you researched the company at all? I have, as far into the internet as I could and as far up the company ladder as I could. They are legitimate. The CEO is Ramin Mesgarlou. The 1985 Athlete of the Year. ( I am not a part of the company yet but I am a 16 year old in Red Deer who has done my research and will be joining soon. I have talked to and seen proof of people being payed. I have seen the jewelery. I have also seen the company Mastercard Debit card you receive and know the rates for it. I have read all of the company policy. But most importantly I'm informed. Before you assume something is a scam and start slandering them please do your research. (Also if you research and see gatordave look into his background before you decide if he's useful. Oh, and one last thing, I have a conference call with the highest earner and ambassador tomorrow and will be meeting the CEO this summer. The company has been around since 2005. It's not a scam.)

There are kids recruiting kids in my son's high school for this Global Wealth Trade thing, and it's the travel packages and "jewlry". They are looking for around $1300 to start up. I'm miffed! My son is 17 and thinks this will be a great way to start up in the business world! It was like pulling teeth to try to get him to tell me what the "meeting" was about. Stop these guys! I'm in Red Deer, Alberta, and there are a lot of people going to these meetings this year :(

Hello Michael
Thanks for helping to expose this crook. We have just written an article on our site entitled "Does CEO = Crooked Evil Opportunist?"
http://togethertothetop.com/?p=1855
Thanks for your comments which we've posted there.
Here are the comments we made on the Marketplace site too ...
The value of the product is a red herring. The most important point here is that most people get scammed not because they are looking for a good travel package, but because they are looking for a good income opportunity.
Most people would not buy the Ultralife product if there were not a business opportunity attached.
Our first hand experience with many people on Alan’s 8-4-2-1 Aussie 2-up pyramid “boards” showed us that well over 90% of participants LOSE money, most of which ends up in Alan’s pocket.
When people complain, he calls them “lame and lazy” or worse, “lying, cheating, thieving distributors.” Not the kind of person we’d ever want to work with again.

Look at his face. Would you believe him? When he was running TTI he was telling everybody that the emeralds were worth alot more than the $1200 you were paying for them when in fact they were worth less than 20%. The way he gets around this is that he sells a product, a product that is worthless. He used this product to cover up the ponzi scheme. Anybody to take a product lets say for example a tshirt and make the worth $1000 when in fact it is worth $20. Then take $500 of the profit and offer it back to the people so they will bring in people. So from that $500 they offer back for recruiting they get back another $1000 (two people) for the company. There is no genious in it just stupid people that don't understand. When this ends and it usually does, hopefully soon. Then usually 14 out of 16 people will lose there money. These trips are worthless I looked at the price and not only can you get a better deal on the internet BIM is probaly making money on the trips as well. Remember a majority of this hotels are out of town so you are stuck having to pay inflated prices for food and drinks.
Listen carefully if you know anybody that is considering this tell them to run before you lose friends forever.

Sorry Michael I get the first 10Gs. Kippax says the mayor of my town of Kincardine kicked me out of town. You know, like the Wild West!
dave CBNow
p.s. I don't know what world this guy lives in but it is loaded with corrupt RCMP, OPP, city and town cops, lawyers accountants, financial advisors, bankers, doctors, dentists, one maxed out on his credit cards for 50Gs, teachers, firefighters, jail & prison guards, and apparently at least one judge they bragged about.
We still have the 18,000+ names from TTI and some from BIM that were clandestinely received from insiders that everyone thought the judge would order returned. But that "Clean Hands Maxim" can be some powerful against crooks who try to manipulate the civil courts when the case is properly presented.
In that list we have identified Toronto Cops, an accountant employed by one of the largest companies in the world his partner in crime arrested a few months ago in Poland and still detained there when they abandoned the TTI pyramid fraud for the cookie cutter pyramid fraud Canadian Diamond Traders
Ah, but then you know about CDT and Jay Waterman right Michael? As I recall they threatened to sue you too for "bad mouthing" them. Now Global Wealth Trade is at it with Oliver Koncz former "V.P." of Kippax's former fraud TTI.
Man it's something keeping up to these guys and their corrupt cops, government employees etc, and the corrupted Competition Bureau all these characters being the facilitators of these frauds.
Their "mug shots" including the "Pyramid of Network Marketing Puppets" of the Comp. Bureau are prominently displayed on our website at www.crimebustersnow.com
The Comp. Bureau without much fanfare did rid itself of the former Commissioner not long ago. Now the rest need to go. And that's the truth!
