Manhattan Ex Officer Sentenced

"The Securities and Exchange Commission announced that on January 11 and 14, 2003, the United States District Court for the Central District of California entered Final Consent Judgments of Permanent Injunction and Other Relief against defendants Eric S. Cano and Phillip M. Borini, respectively."

Interestingly, this ligitation began in or around May, 2001.

I believe that Manhattan Bagel had been purchased by New Coffee World prior to the SEC litigation, and New Coffee World had tried to shut down a website critical of its accounting, among other things. Apparently in the end, New Coffee World achieved its goal, as the disputed sites no longer exists - even in wayback time.
